Families for Roadside Safety, Inc (FORS) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization funded by indivdual donations. All donations are tax deductible. With so little overhead, over 90% of FORS’ funding goes directly toward Move Over educational material. Currently, FORS has a goal of $30,000 for a billboard campaign in North Carolina.

July 12, 2008 CHEROKEE, NC - Motorcycle Ride: The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will host the Cherokee Cruisin’ Thunder Ride. Registration will be held at the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds beginning at 10am. All riders and rodders are welcome for a $10 donation. The ride is planned to be around 20 miles and will be held rain or shine. The event will include free food, music and door prizes. There will also be a Rodder’s Choice sponsored by Cherokee D.A.R.E. July 17, 2008 DILLSBORO, NC - Car Show & Dinner: A dinner will be held at the Jarrett Memorial Baptist Church. Restaurants will be serving dinner for $6 per adult and $ per child. The Dillsboro Merchants Association will host a vintage car and truck show from 6-8:30 on Front Street. There will also be a silent auction.
