A BIG THANK YOU to our WEBMISTRESS Amy Soesbee (E-Starr Webhosting) for working so hard on the new website which is soon to be released! Please keep in mind that it will slowly be tweaked and updated to include links and other information. If you want to make sure your organization has a link on our site, please forward the information to me.
THANK YOU to the Tuscola High School PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) in Waynesville, NC. Tuscola’s PTO donated $500 to FORS!! Trooper Anthony Cogdill graduated from Tuscola in the late 80’s. Trooper Cogdill was killed on May 30, 2003 when he was run over by a tractor-trailer during a traffic stop.
THANK YOU to the North Carolina Fire and Life Safety Educators who invited me to speak at their conference at the Grove Park Inn last week about the Move Over Law. The fire safety community across North Carolina has been incredibly supportive of our efforts. Thank you so much!
This afternoon was our Board of Directors Meeting! We have not been able to meet in two years! Thank you to our board members Matthew Gibson, Brooke Smith and Amy Soesbee for attending our meeting. We are hoping to schedule a public forum in either March or April to discuss FORS’s Project Move Over and our fundraising efforts. We will let you know the date and location when we have that available.
As always, Move Over and Slow Down…Give them room to work…Our Lives Depend On It!!!!!
